Nobody thought a round die could work. So we built one.

Orbidice started as a small studio project in Poland — an obsession with a single question: could the most familiar object in tabletop gaming be reinvented without breaking what makes it work?

The answer is a patented internal mechanism: a free-moving weight that settles into precision-cut grooves, stopping the sphere with one number facing up. Same fairness, same odds, an entirely new feeling in the hand.

In 2021, 9,115 backers on Kickstarter pledged over €826,472 to make it real. Today every set is finished by hand and checked one sphere at a time — because we are the only ones in the world who make these, and we intend to stay worth it. See the campaign on Kickstarter →
